Snohomish Falls

On our last trip out to see Grace we finally made a stop at Snohomish Falls. We needed a break and we have been meaning to stop for a while. It was stunning! The mist felt nice and the roar of the water was unreal!
There was also a man there with a telescope and he keeps an eye on a pair of birds (I am now drawing a blank as to which kind of bird...some hawk or falcon, I don't know). But we got to look in and see the baby. Which in all honesty looked more like a pillow or a huge cotton ball. Cute I guess...

To Petersburg We Go...

Our most recent adventure involved a move to Petersburg, Alaska for the summer. Mat accepted a job fishing there last summer before we got engaged and so we decided to follow through with it and head on up there. Our journey took us through Beautiful British Columbia, which I had never been through but Mat was positive that I would love it. We went through Jasper and Banff National Parks, unfortunately we hit them at night but there was a full moon and the moon off the mountains was absolutely stunning!
